Since then she has founded a design company and become the spokesperson for the mommy blogging community. She has published a collection of essays in a book, ‘Mommy Confidential: Adventures from the Wonderbelly of Motherhood’.
Blogging has also changed the life of another mommy, Jamie. Her blog ‘BlondeMomBlog’ is the #1 Google search result for ‘mom blog’. She started her blog as a platform for a creative outlet. Apart from blogging she now writes family travel reviews and has launched Savvy Housewife, a product review and shopping blog.
Then, there are women like Heather B. Armstrong who has turned blogging into the main source of income for her family. She launched her website ‘dooce.com’ by writing about pop culture, music and the chronicles of her family life. She was fired from her job after she wrote about some of her co-workers.
